This is a 100% vegan full spectrum standardized extract of Arjuna bark (Terminalia arjuna). An extract of Arjuna when given at 500 mg 8 hourly, to patients with stable angina with provocable ischemia on treadmill exercise, led to improvement in clinical & treadmill exercise parameters as compared to placebo therapy. These benefits were similar to those observed with isosorbide mononitrate (40 mg/day) therapy & the extract was well tolerated, the herb has been proven to treat ischaemic heart disease & angina. It also reduces serum cholesterol & helps in arrhythmia. 
 
Arjuna bark has one of the most focused reputations in the whole Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia: for centuries it has been the tradition's herb for the heart, taken daily as a tonic for cardiac strength and healthy circulation.
