Exfoliating Face Scrub
One face scrub, made properly. The Exfoliating Face Scrub polishes away the dead surface cells that make skin look dull and block everything you apply from working, using physical exfoliants sized for facial skin rather than the harsh grits that microtear. Botanical oils in the base mean skin finishes comfortable, not stripped. It is formulated and made in our own Goa lab on standardized botanical extracts.
Why one and not five
Exfoliation is the most overdone step in modern skincare, and the category is crowded with products that compete on how much they remove. That is the wrong axis. The discipline is a gentle abrasive, a low frequency, and a base that respects the barrier, and once you have a scrub built to those three rules there is very little reason to own a second one. We made one, and we made it to that specification.
How to use it
Once or twice a week, no more, on clean damp skin. Take a small amount, roughly the size of a pea, and work it in small circles with the pads of your fingers for thirty to sixty seconds. Use no pressure at all; the abrasive does the work and your hand only moves it. Spend a little longer around the nose and chin where congestion collects, and skip the eye area entirely. Rinse warm and follow with a mask, serum or your usual cream, each of which performs measurably better on freshly exfoliated skin.
When not to
Skip it over active breakouts, broken skin, sunburn or the day you have had any professional treatment. If your skin is currently sensitized, red, tight or stinging when you apply products, stop exfoliating for two weeks and let the barrier rebuild before you start again. Twice a week is a ceiling and not a target: many people do better at once.
What "gentle" means in a formulation
The commonest fault in a facial scrub is an abrasive particle that is too large or too sharply edged, which creates micro-tears the skin must then repair, producing the temporary glow people mistake for a result. Ours are sized and shaped for facial skin and suspended in botanical oils rather than a drying detergent base.
