Face Masks & Peel-Off Therapies
Masks are the intensive step: concentrated formulations that stay on long enough to work. The Himalayan Mineral Mud-Mask draws on rejuvenating mineral clay to deep-clean and remineralize. The Detoxifying Charcoal Mask uses activated charcoal for congested, city-stressed skin. The Hydrating & Toning Face Mask feeds skin that reads dull or tight. The two peel-off therapies target specific concerns: Anti-Acne for breakout-prone skin and Toning & Lifting for skin losing firmness. All five are formulated in our own Goa lab on standardized botanical extracts.
Choosing by your skin's loudest complaint
Congestion, blackheads and visible pores point to the Detoxifying Charcoal Mask. Dullness and the grey cast that city air leaves behind point to the Himalayan Mineral Mud-Mask. Tightness, flaking and skin that drinks moisturizer without softening point to the Hydrating & Toning Face Mask. Active breakouts and the marks they leave point to the Anti-Acne peel-off therapy. Loss of firmness along the jaw and cheek points to Toning & Lifting. Most people need two, rotated by season, rather than one used forever.
Clay, charcoal or peel-off
They work by different mechanisms and it is worth knowing which you are buying. Clay and charcoal masks are absorbent: they draw oil and debris out of the pore while they sit, and they suit oily and congested skin. A hydrating cream mask does the opposite, occluding the surface so water stays in the skin. A peel-off film lifts surface debris mechanically as it comes away and gives an immediate smoothing effect. Oily skin usually wants absorbent. Dry skin usually wants occlusive. Combination skin can use both on different areas in the same session.
How to use one so it earns its fifteen minutes
Cleanse first, and exfoliate first if you are going to. Apply an even layer, thicker than feels necessary, avoiding the eye area. Set a timer rather than guessing, because a clay mask left to dry hard past its time starts pulling moisture out of the skin rather than oil out of the pore. Rinse warm, pat dry, and follow immediately with a serum or emulsion onto damp skin. Once a week is right for most people, twice at the very most.
Weekly, not instead of
Masks are a supplement to a daily routine, not a replacement for one. No fifteen-minute treatment outperforms a well-chosen cleanser and moisturizer used every day. What a good mask does is give you a concentrated step your daily products cannot provide. Every ingredient is named and its job explained on the product page, made in our own GMP-certified Goa facility.
