Discover Holistic Wellness with Ayurveda

Welcome to the Amsarveda blog, a space for exploring Ayurveda, natural wellness, skincare, hair care and the science behind herbal ingredients. Here you will find practical Ayurvedic insights, ingredient knowledge, and stories from our own journey of combining traditional Ayurvedic practice with modern formulation science.

What you will find here

The articles fall into four rough groups. Ingredient explainers take a single botanical, ashwagandha, amla, arjuna, turmeric, neem, and set out what the classical texts used it for, what modern research has and has not established, and what standardization means for the version you actually swallow. Routine guides are the practical pieces: how to build an ayurvedic hair care routine, how to sequence a skincare set, how to use a body therapy properly. Category guides cover the questions people search before they buy, from natural multivitamins to herbal hair loss serums to cholesterol support. And inside the lab pieces explain how the work is done: what GMP certification actually guarantees, why experience still beats instrumentation in quality control, and how a standardized extract differs from a ground-up plant.

Where the writing comes from

We have been researching, formulating and manufacturing in Goa since 1963, which means the articles here are written from inside a working lab rather than from a content brief. When we say a botanical is standardized, we mean we standardize it. When we hedge a claim, it is because the evidence hedges it. And when something is traditional rather than clinically established, we say so, because the distinction is the whole point of doing this properly.

How to use the blog

If you are researching a concern, start with the category guide and follow it to the ingredient explainers underneath. If you already own something of ours and want to get more out of it, the routine guides are the practical ones. If you are trying to work out whether to trust a natural products company at all, the inside-the-lab pieces are the honest place to start.

A standing note on health content

Nothing published here is medical advice, and nothing here replaces your doctor or your prescriptions. Ayurvedic formulations support health alongside diet, movement and medical care. Where a topic touches something serious, chronic skin conditions, blood sugar, cholesterol, heart health, we will say plainly where herbal support ends and clinical care begins. That is a less exciting way to write about wellness, and the only defensible one.
